Problem

“This is a complex farm with several very different soil types and different blocks of varying age in terms of development. We were not sure how to proceed and sought advice from Dr Edmeades and his team. We are very pleased with the outcome.  Our fertiliser costs were higher initially to pay for the capital fertiliser required on some blocks but we are now moving to a maintenance phase. The pastures are much better as indicated by the increase in total milk production”.

Outcome

After an initial capital fertiliser program in 2005 production has increase from 250,000 kg MS to 400,000 (60%)
