David has an agricultural diploma from Massey University (Dip,Ag) and after a stint at Ruakura he went back ‘home’ to Northland as the Technical Representative for Farmers Fertiliser (now part of Ballance AgriNutrients). Thus, most of Dave’s working life has been spent dealing with fertiliser and soil fertility issues in the context of Northland; he knows Northland’s ways, it’s farming and it’s problems. There a very few parts of Northland which have never heard his footsteps.
